ELIGIBILITY:

Catch Your Breath is open to all skaters in good standing with U.S. Figure Skating. 

PROGRAMS FOR EXHIBITION:

Skaters are limited to a maximum of two (2) programs.  Only music on CD-R will be accepted!  Record each program music on one-track only with a three (3) second lead and one song per CD-R.  CDs must be clearly marked with the skater’s name and program and turned in to the registration desk at least one hour prior to the program. Music may be picked up at the registration desk after the exhibition. A duplicate copy should be readily available during the program. Smudge-free CDs are appreciated.

CRITIQUE (OPTIONAL):

Critique is available for each program by an IJS judge.
                                             

SCHEDULE NOTIFICATION:

Confirmations will be sent via e-mail ONLY, so ALL SKATERS MUST PROVIDE A LEGIBLE E-MAIL ADDRESS ON THE REGISTRATION FORM.  Do NOT send a self-addressed stamped envelope with your registration, as no schedules or confirmations will be mailed.  As soon as generic schedules are available, they will be posted on our website at www.tahoefsc.com.  The final schedule with skaters’ names and times will be posted at the South Tahoe Ice Arena, as well as the website.

REGISTRATION:

The registration desk will be open throughout the exhibition.  Skaters must check in at least one hour prior to the exhibition on September 20.

FACILITY:

“Catch Your Breath” will be held at the South Tahoe Ice Arena at  1176 Rufus Allen Blvd., South Lake Tahoe, CA, 96150, 530-542-6262.  It is located off of Lake Tahoe Boulevard, on Highway 50.  The smoke-free facility has a café (a dinner menu is available on exhibition night), a large eating area, arcade and pro-shop, which sells figure skating supplies, including dresses.  Dressing rooms are available.  Admission to the exhibition is free.  For more information, visit:  www.recreationintahoe.com/ice_arena.

Entries must be postmarked by midnight, September 12, 2008.  Late entries will be considered on a case-by-case basis and will include a $20 late fee per program.
